Wildlife Paddle

A parent or adult is required to sign a waiver online or on-site at WOA before the minor can go out. The parent or guardian may or may not participate with their minor, 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult in their group.

Minors must wear a life vest at all times.

WOA provides complimentary life vests.

Securely fitting shoes will help you avoid foot injuries in the river. Water shoes and old tennis shoes are the best. If you do not have any, Wildwood HQ has them for purchase in their outfitter shop. Flip flops are not suitable. Remember to bring shoes to wear on the river and dry shoes for off the river. Most people are most comfortable in bathing suits or shorts and a t-shirt. You will definitely get wet! Remember that sunburn is unpleasant, so be prepared.

Yes, coolers are allowed on the river! Feel free to bring your cooler filled w/ snacks & beverages or pick them up at our convenience store upon arrival. No glass or Styrofoam containers can be taken on the river. We have cooler tubes available for rent that will fit a standard size cooler. Please make sure and pack out your trash. No littering allowed on the river. Bring a garbage bag with or ask for one at the counter at time of check in. Let’s keep our waterways clean and enjoyable for everyone to experience!

Our tubes have handles, seats, and cup holders in them.

We are stoked to announce our NEW 2025 “take out” Location — where you get out of the river — Clearly marked as Wildwood’s Exit on the water way with an easy take out designed for all ages and abilities in a true Northwoods setting off the highway. Your shuttle driver will be able to provide further details upon arrival. Looking to have your car parked at the ending location prior to going out? No problem, talk with our staffing at time of check in!
